1995 Geo Metro 1.0 liter three cylinder five speed. Engine runs great but it does leak a little oil and water so you need to keep your eye on those fluid levels. I bought this car for my son to drive to school but he just turned his nose up at it. He told me he wanted to drive the 1990 Ford crown victoria police special. So I ended up driving it for a year, talk about great gas milage, it has saved me a bundle at the gas pump. It is one of the few cars I have owned that make me smile at the gas pump.
I drove this car until it developed a noise in the transmission, my mechanic tells me it needs a throw out bearing. It is worth fixing for the savings at the gas pump but my wife will not drive it since it has a 5-speed and I have just got a 1996 Metro with the 1.3 liter automatic transmission and air condioning, has a blown motor, that I am fixing so she can drive it.
