International Harvester 240 cubic inch six cylinder engine for sale
IH 240 cubic inch six cylinder engine for sale. This engine runs good and starts great for me even on the coldest Iowa morning. It is in the 1959 IH A100 pickup that I am using this winter as a wood hauler. It carries good oil pressure on the gauge. I have been driving it out in the field and hauling wood in and I haven't put a drop of oil in it all winter even though it appears to be leaking out of the valve cover gasket so I assume the leak is not too bad. It does sound to me like the valve train could use some adjustment. I plan on putting a small block V8 in this pickup this summer so I am putting the 240 cid six up for sale.
For $600.00 you get the complete engine, from the carburator down to the bottom of the oil pan, generator, flywheel and starter are not included. Come over to my place and here it run.
